Admissions & Guest Services
Our Admissions and Guest Services Crews are the welcoming committees for our park! At Neptune Island we believe that the island oasis experience should start from the moment our guests step onto the property and for them to see that it truly is “our pleasure” to serve them. Admissions and Guest Services Crew Members are responsible for ticket sales, serving as informational resources for guests, welcoming guests and ensuring park safety procedures at the Front Gate, serving guests at our Food and Beverage Kiosks, and providing a friendly and fun atmosphere for our groups and parties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides outstanding guest service.
Operates a touch screen Point of Sale system in an efficient and timely manner.
Assists guests in the purchasing of tickets, retail merchandise, and cabana rentals.
Assists guests with ordering and purchasing at Food and Beverage kiosks.
Assists guests with the booking of special events, including group reservations and birthday parties.
Serve as hosts for birthday parties, group events, and special events as needed and directed.
Answers guests’ questions concerning the park.
Ensures that all guest receive prompt and courteous attention.
Maintains clean work stations and performs end of shift cleaning duties.
Maintains inventory, including but not limited to: proper storage, reporting and tracking.
Any other duties as assigned by management, supervisors or leads.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 16 years old.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods of time with exposure to direct sunlight, hot temperatures and other inclement weather.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, or higher with assistance.
Participate in mandatory in-service training throughout the season.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Cash handling skills a plus.
