Food & Beverage - Inventory Controller
Our Food and Beverage Inventory Control Crew member is responsible for ensuring there is enough food and beverage inventory to feed our guest and crew on a daily basis. They will work closely with the park’s management team counting stock of food, beverage and other food related products to ensure there is enough food to keep Neptune Island guests (and staff) full and happy for the long summer days at our island oasis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides outstanding guest service.
Works closely with management in taking inventory and ordering product.
Assists with food and beverage shipments, as well as dating, rotating and putting new stock away in it’s the proper place.
Properly disposes of expired and damaged products.
Must perform to standards of South Carolina DHEC rules and regulations as it relates to food handling.
Ensures that all guest receive prompt and courteous attention.
Maintains clean work stations and perform end of shift cleaning duties.
Any other duties as assigned by management, supervisors or leads.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 18 years old.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods of time with exposure to direct sunlight, hot temperatures and other inclement weather.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, or higher with assistance.
Participate in mandatory in-service training throughout the season.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) knowledge a plus.
Strong organizational skills.
Must be able to complete Servsafe Food Handler course prior to employment.
