Food & Beverage - Kitchen Staff & Prep
Our Food & Beverage Crew keeps Neptune Island guests (and staff) full and happy for the long summer days at our island oasis. Food & Beverage Crew Members are responsible for cooking and/or grilling, food preparation, stocking and inventorying items, washing dishes and keeping areas at the Neptune Island standard for sanitation and cleanliness.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides outstanding guest service.
Operates a computerized Point of Sale system in an efficient and timely manner.
Must perform to standards of South Carolina DHEC rules and regulations as it relates to food handling.
Prepares and cooks food and/or drinks for our guest and crew members.
Ensures that all guest receive prompt and courteous attention.
Maintains clean work stations and perform end of shift cleaning duties. Including but not limited to: washing of dishes, silverware, pots and pans and grill area.
Any other duties as assigned by management, supervisors or leads.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 16 years old.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods of time with exposure to sunlight and hot temperatures and other inclement weather.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Participate in mandatory in-service training throughout the season.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds or higher, with assistance.
Cash handling skills a plus.
Must be able to complete Servsafe Food Handler course prior to employment.
