Our Food & Beverage Crew keeps Neptune Island guests (and staff) full and happy for the long summer days at our island oasis. Food & Beverage Crew Members are responsible for cooking and/or grilling, food preparation, stocking and inventorying items, washing dishes and keeping areas at the Neptune Island standard for sanitation and cleanliness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides outstanding guest service.

  • Operates a computerized Point of Sale system in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Must perform to standards of South Carolina DHEC rules and regulations as it relates to food handling.

  • Prepares and cooks food and/or drinks for our guest and crew members.

  • Ensures that all guest receive prompt and courteous attention.

  • Maintains clean work stations and perform end of shift cleaning duties. Including but not limited to: washing of dishes, silverware, pots and pans and grill area.

  • Any other duties as assigned by management, supervisors or leads.

Age Requirement

Must be at least 16 years old.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time with exposure to sunlight and hot temperatures and other inclement weather.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Participate in mandatory in-service training throughout the season.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds or higher, with assistance.

  • Cash handling skills a plus.

  • Must be able to complete Servsafe Food Handler course prior to employment.
